Personal Profile

Xu Jingheng, Professor at the Hetao Institute of Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences. He obtained his PhD from Tsinghua University and specialises in cybersecurity and AI infrastructure research based on artificial intelligence. He currently serves as an expert for the Guangdong Province Cybersecurity Classification Protection Rating Assessment and as a member of the Expert Committee of the Shenzhen Network and Information Security Industry Association. He previously held the position of Director at the Shenzhen Key Laboratory for Cloud Security Core Technology Research.

He serves as a member of the Technical Committees for conferences including SC and IPDPS. Recipient of China's highest honour in intelligent science – the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Award (Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress, principal contributor) – alongside the China Electric Power Science and Technology Innovation Award (First Prize) and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Computing Power China · Young Pioneer Award. Has led or participated in multiple national and provincial-level projects, including one National Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Special Project for High-Quality Development in Manufacturing, two National Key R&D Programmes, National Natural Science Foundation grants, and other provincial/ministerial-level funding initiatives.
