Personal Profile
Wang Bin, Assistant Professor at the Hetao Institute for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences (Shenzhen). Awarded a PhD from the S.T. Yau School of Mathematical Sciences, Tsinghua University in 2020, subsequently undertaking a visiting fellowship at the Beijing International Centre for Mathematical Research that same year. From 2021 to 2023, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2023 to 2025. His primary research focuses on the moduli spaces of Higgs sheaves on algebraic curves and surfaces, alongside their intersections with enumerative geometry and geometric representation theory.
