Biography


Peng-Xiang Hao is an Assistant Professor at the Hetao Institute of Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences (Shenzhen). He received his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Peking University. His research focuses on gravity and quantum field theory, with the aim of understanding quantum gravity in realistic spacetimes.



Research Interests


Quantum Gravity and the Holographic Principle:Quantum gravity aims to unify general relativity with quantum mechanics and describe the microscopic structure of spacetime at the Planck scale. The holographic duality reveals an equivalence between a (d+1)-dimensional gravitational theory and a d-dimensional boundary quantum field theory, providing a non-perturbative formulation of quantum gravity. Specific research directions include flat holography, AdS/BCFT correspondence, quantum entanglement, and spacetime emergence.
