About the Institute

The Hetao Institute of Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences (Shenzhen) is a newly established public institution in Shenzhen, dedicated to promoting the integrated development of fundamental and applied disciplines. The institute focuses on interdisciplinary research areas including fundamental mathematics (including physics), applied mathematics (including physics), artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing. It has signed a cooperation agreement with The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen to jointly train and supervise students, postdoctoral fellows, and other young talents.

Job Openings

We are currently seeking highly qualified professionals in fundamental mathematics (including physics), applied mathematics (including physics), computer science (including high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, software R&D and applications), as well as cutting-edge application fields such as quantum computing, climate modeling, geophysics, and biomaterials. Positions include faculty researchers, professional technical staff, postdoctoral fellows, and doctoral students to conduct research and engineering development.

  • Faculty applicants must hold a doctoral degree and demonstrate outstanding academic achievements. Successful candidates will be appointed as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, with responsibilities in teaching and graduate student supervision.
  • Professional technical staff will be appointed to positions such as Engineer, Senior Engineer, or Principal Engineer.
  • Postdoctoral fellows and doctoral students will be jointly trained with The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.
